What is Going On?!

Hey, don’t worry. There’s a good chance I’m as confused as you are. But, I’m going to try to explain. Ready? Here goes.

So, Substack is a blog/newsletter platform that makes it very easy for writers to share their words with the world. Recently, I uncovered a rich seam of short, often-nonsensical unpublished content on some old cloud storage, which doesn’t quite fit anywhere else on my social media or websites.

And so, I’ve decided to share it here. Basically, you can sign up (for free) to get emailed whenever I add any new content. The content will come as an email direct to your inbox, so you don’t have to come here to Substack, and it will also be available to read here, too, if that’s what you prefer.

If I start putting out a lot of content, rather than email you every time, I’ll send one email a week with a link to all the new stuff.

As well as older stuff, you can expect to see some new content, too. My brain gets a little fried spending long days working on books, so I’ll be using Substack to sort of stretch my legs creatively, and recharge. Mostly by writing nonsense for you to enjoy.

If you’re a member of the JD Kirk VIP Club, think of this as an extension of that, not a replacement. That will continue to run as normal.
