Sidekicks: The Comic Book
I was into comics long before I became a reader of books. I’ve been fortunate enough to write some comics over the years, too, including 200+ strips for The Beano, various licensed projects like Power Rangers, Angry Birds, and Adventure Time, and a four-issue mini-series based on the Bryan Cranston and Chris Pine starring animated show, SuperMansion.
Oh, and I also wrote an original comic adventure based on my Space Team series.
While sorting through some old cloud storage recently, I came across these test pages for a comic book based on my comedy surperhero novel, The Sidekicks Initiative.
Since I’m almost certainly never going to find the time to finish it, I thought I’d share the pages that already exist here for you to (hopefully) enjoy. I can’t actually find the name of the artist for these, but as soon as I do, I’ll share it here.

could never get into comics as a kid, although I did like the Beano. I get them more as an adult, for some obscure reason. Nice graphics.
